Potter Guillermo Cuellar moved from his native Venezuela to be part of what he calls a pottery “mecca"--the Upper St. Croix River Valley. Years later, he is a key member of Minnesota’s pottery community and relishes the opportunity to share his work with other artists and members of the community. A lifelong potter, Cuellar embraces his place in the journey his pottery takes from creation to use. He considers it a gift to meet the people who purchase his work and use his functional pottery in their daily lives. Minnesota Music in this Segment:
